Engineers Without Borders Call for Nominations
Length of Term:
·         January 1, 2016- December 31, 2016

·         Voters must be members of EWB-WSU on OrgSync and EWB-USA on

·         Submit EWB officer application in full by the deadline

Duties and Responsibilities:
·         Set chapter objectives and goals for the upcoming year.
·         Manage chapter actives and facilitate chapter meetings.
·         Maintain communication with EWB-USA HQ as well as the State Representative by reporting on chapter activities, changes and progress.
·         Disseminate information from EWB-USA to chapter members.
·         Ensure EWB-USA is represented professionally in conduct, communication, and at events.
·         Maintain relations with the university and faculty advisor
·         Assume the responsibilities of the President in his/hers absence.
·         Manage internal chapter relations.
·         Ensure that all chapter programs are operating in accordance with EWB-USA policies and procedures.
·         Supervise cost, scope and schedule for each project is within acceptable tolerances.
·         Coordinate with the President on the agenda for all chapter meetings.
·         Record and distribute minutes from chapter meetings.
·         Update and generate external chapter communications such as posters, brochure, website, newsletter within EWB-USA branding guidelines.
·         Plan short and long-term finance goals for the chapter’s budget.
·         Advise chapter on the financial status on a monthly basis.
·         Maintain compliance with EWB-USA financial policies.

·         Reconcile monthly financial reports with chapter records.

Meeting Tonight (10/6/15) at 6:30 pm

Join us for our general meeting tonight at 6:30 pm. We will briefly discuss upcoming events and projects. Then we will go to judge the Universities annual cardboard boat race! Join us at 6:30 pm in Joshi 299!

EWB Construction Day

We had a great time at the Cincinnati professional chapters Engineers Without Borders construction field day!

We had the opportunity to learn all kinds of new skills like...

  4. Water Quality Testing
